Bottoms Up
Foodimentary serves up a great Friday treat -- today is National Margarita Day. In honor of Jon & Kate, we're going to supersize our margarita. Here's a recipe for a pitcher of margaritas from Texas Cooking.

Margaritas by the Pitcher (On the Rocks)

3 cups tequila, chilled
3/4 cup Cointreau or triple sec, chilled
2-1/2 cups fresh squeezed lime juice, chilled (12 to 14 medium limes)
lime wedges
salt

Mix together the tequila, triple sec and lime juice in a pitcher. To serve, rub the rim of each glass with a cut lime wedge and dip the rim into salt to coat it thoroughly. Reserve the lime for garnish.

Fill glasses with ice cubes, and pour margarita mix over the ice. Garnish with lime wedges. Makes just over 6 cups.

Bottoms Up, a semi-regular feature, appears when life calls for a drink.
