I discovered yoga when I was procrastinating on a writing assignment. Parked on a yoga mat, I not only cleared my writer's block but developed a new passion. And so, instead of blogging I've been working on Past Tense, my new yoga studio, which opens mid June. No, this doesn't mean I'm quitting my day job. I'm still freelancing furiously and will continue to do so. More information to come, but for today enjoy a little Ogden.

Partying. That's what's been on the list of things I've been doing instead of blogging. Rachel Shteir celebrated both her birthday and new book Gypsy: The Art of the Tease on Friday at The Slipper Room in New York. And last night, Jose Andres toasted Monica Bhide's new cookbook, Modern Spice. With these book launches in mind, enjoy this week's video.
